United Methodist Women’s Assembly 2022 is for members, new friends, and partners to gather, worship, care for your soul and learn about the needs of women, children and youth in the 21st century. It’s a time to continue building on our more than 150-year heritage as women LEADERS who know how to organize and serve. And women who are willing to be challenged to grow in their faith as they build deeper connections with one another, community leaders and partners in the work of justice for all of God’s children. Past keynote speakers at Assembly have included Nobel peace prize winner Leymah Gbowee, Michelle Alexander, founder of Children’s Defense Fund Marion Wright Edelman, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, PBS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff, Worldwide YWCA General Secretary Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda, Grammy-award winner CeCe Winans and more. Bold action, like faith, takes courage. Our action is inspired by God’s love and driven by our powerful commitment to improve the lives of women, children, and youth.
